Michigan Poison & Drug Information Center Celebrates National Poison Prevention Week: March 16-22, 2025

“When the unexpected happens, Poison Help is here for you.”

The Michigan Poison & Drug Information Center joins all of America’s Poison Centers in celebration of National Poison Prevention Week 2025. We take this opportunity to highlight the services, expert advice, and information we provide to the public, health care professionals, and everyone who lives and works in Michigan.

The Michigan Poison & Drug Information Center (MiPDC) serves as a vital resource for the prevention and treatment of poisonings and adverse drug reactions. Operating 24/7, the center provides immediate, expert guidance to healthcare professionals, patients, and the general public regarding potential toxic exposures and safe medication practices. With a team of trained specialists, including pharmacists and toxicologists, the MiPDC aims to improve health outcomes through education, outreach, and timely interventions. Its commitment to public safety and health promotion is reflected in the comprehensive information and support it offers to those in need.

Throughout the year and during NPPW, Poison Center Educators participate in a variety of public awareness campaigns and education outreach events. See the links below and follow us on our social media for updates on NPPW and important news and updates throughout the year.
