Hello, my name is Tehmina and I am a physician by training. I have been with the Michigan Poison Center for 12 years. Since I have been here, I have continued to appreciate what a valuable service we provide for the public at large; we are just a phone call away to help people during extremely stressful moments in their lives. Our staff are highly trained to handle all types of scenarios from the general public, healthcare professionals, and law enforcement who are looking for help and recommendations about toxic exposures and information about potentially dangerous substances. I love being a part of and contributing to positive patient outcomes and consider it a privilege to serve the state of Michigan and its residents.
